If you received a letter stating that your website is not compliant with the American Disabilities Act, you are not alone. 4000 cases were filed in 2021, and that number keeps going up every year.
After you receive a letter stating your website is not accessible, what do you do next?
There are three things you need to do:
- Work with a web development company that knows WCAG 2.1 AA for an initial audit and remediation (that would be Mannix Marketing)
- Work with a third-party organization that will certify that your site has been made compliant
- Hire a lawyer.
Mannix Marketing can help with 1 & 2; however, we aren’t lawyers, so we’ve done our homework and started a list of lawyers that have been recommended their industry associations:
Marinas, Boat Sellers, and Car Dealers
